He took the chair in 2025, after seven years running Al-Meezan Associates as Managing Director. Those were the years the firm grew past building work: water supply and sewerage for WASA in Lahore, solid waste collection across two whole tehsils, and a plant fleet the company runs itself rather than hires in. The city sewerage and drainage packages in Bhakkar, Jauharabad and Kot Addu came in the months after.
He began in cost control, on a dam water supply project, reporting a live civil budget against earned value back to head office in Italy. It is the same question he asks of every contract here: not whether the work looks right, but what it has cost against what was measured.
